Our History
With a history spanning 3 generations, A&M Copes Florist have been a family business for over 50 years.
We pride ourselves in an outstanding professional service for any occasion, creating bespoke individual gifts, exquisite bouquets, floral arrangements, sympathy displays and much more. Combined with our impeccable delivery service, with strive to offer a unparalleled level of service.
Established in 1956, Agnes and her 18 year old daughter Mildred opened a florist in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent. Throughout their hard work and determination the business bloomed. In 1985, sisters Mandy and Julie took over the business from their parents Mildred and Harry, who had continued Copes Florist from Mildred’s mum Agnes.
The Florists
Sisters Mandy and Julie have worked for over 30 years in the family business in Tunstall.
Leaving school, their floristry talent was mastered from their parents. Julie too the responsibility of organising the floral deliveries, which she continues to do today with tremendous efficiency. Mandy’s starting responsibility was the early morning visits to the wholesalers to ensure the shop was full of the freshest flowers.
The same remains today, and both sisters continue to create and deliver beautiful floral designs with only the freshest flowers for any occasion.
